Global Project Portfolio

Transforming Waste to Wealth

CleanBreeze is a nationwide initiative converting over 500,000 tons of organic waste annually into biogas and biofertilizers. It operates both urban and rural biogas plants, supplying clean energy to 100,000+ households and small businesses, creating 500+ jobs, and partnering with 500+ farmers to boost agricultural productivity.

  • Urban plants process high-volume municipal waste for energy and industrial use
  • Rural units support decentralized farming communities with clean cooking fuel and organic fertilizers
  •  Aligned with SDGs 2, 5, 7, 11, and 13

Middle East’s First Integrated Waste-to-Energy Facility

Located in Mesaieed, this facility processes 2,300 tons/day of municipal solid waste through incineration and anaerobic digestion. It produces electricity, steam, and compost—minimizing landfill use and maximizing resource recovery.

  • Waste-to-Energy Incineration: 1,500 tons/day
  • Anaerobic Digestion: 500 tons/day
  • Supports Qatar’s national sustainability goals

Digitally Optimized Urban Waste Collection

This project deployed 7,000 smart bins with IoT sensors and 1,000 GPS-equipped municipal vehicles across Doha. Phase 1 achieved 90% coverage of the capital’s waste collection system, improving efficiency, transparency, and environmental outcomes.

  • Real-time monitoring and route optimization
  • Reduced overflow, emissions, and operational costs
  • Model for smart city waste systems in Africa

World’s Largest Electric Bus Depot

Powered by 11,000 solar panels (~4 MW), this depot supports electric bus operations with smart charging infrastructure. It’s a benchmark for sustainable public transport and renewable energy integration.

  • Reduces carbon footprint of urban mobility
  • Demonstrates scalable solar infrastructure for transport hubs

Integrated Bus & Marine Passenger Terminal

This hub combines bus and ferry services to enhance low-emission urban mobility. It supports modal shift from private vehicles to public transport, reducing congestion and pollution.

  • Promotes sustainable urban transport
  • Enhances accessibility and interconnectivity

Smart Infrastructure & Public Safety

Lookwell supported the rollout of a secure Wide Area Network for Qatar’s Public Works Authority and nationwide surveillance systems to protect transport hubs and critical infrastructure.

  • Enables smart city operations and environmental monitoring
  • Enhances public safety and emergency response
