During the three-day expo organized by Vision Group in partnership with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Uganda, a number of the expo-goers attended various training sessions and took notes.
It was quite a learning experience for many present and these included pupils from Motherwell Junior School.
Motherwell Junior School is an associate partner to Lookwell Investments Limited.
Besides learning tips in soil fertilization, the pupils were taken on a tour and enjoyed an experience from visiting various stalls in piggery, rabbit keeping, poultry, passion fruit, goat keeping and urban farming.
Lookwell Investments Limited CEO Paul Mark Kayongo later stated: “It’s very important to give these young pupils a chance to learn various skills at an early stage. Such expos offer practical solutions to these pupils beyond the theory they pick from class.”
